An overcast day...
and a sad looking dog made me put the paintbrushes away and go for a short run. I took Max on our 4K run through the bush and it was another good run. Love that.

A good short run
Haven't done a lot of running this week, the two times I tried I wasn't feeling well so I took a couple of days off. Today I did my short run through the bush so I could take Max and it was a great run. Feeling good, knees not sore and I increased my speed a titch. All in all a good one!

Not the best run again
Today is Monday, which means taking Max for a short run to the creek (about a 4K run). He likes it so I try to do it a few times a week. I think though, that I may have a touch of the flu or something because like yesterday it is just not going well. Feeling kinda clammy and not well while running. Perhaps I'll take it easy today and take tomorrow off.

More time on my hands ...
So I have more time on my hands now that it is summer and I am forgetting to do all of my blogging! Go figure. Last week I ran on Monday with the dog and on Thursday I did and 8K. Today I was going to do my 16K but it just wasn't working for me, sore knees and all so I cut it short and came home. I did 9K so not too bad.

A Tough Run
I did a great long run (16K) on Saturday and it felt great. I was sore though on Sunday and a little better today. Tonight we had a cool night so I decided to do a short (5K) run, and it was tough. My legs were still tired/sore from Saturday. Oh well at least I ran.

A bit of a run
Did my short run in the bush with Max today, much better to take him there than on the streets. I am going to have to go earlier though, it is already warm at 8:30.

Note to self
Finally able to fit in a run albeit a short one. I wanted to run about 8K today and took the dog with me. I just wasn't able to do it, too hard running with him on a leash now that it is warm out so I cut it short and did 5 instead. I will try and do a short 4K run through the bushes Monday, Wednesday and Fridays so I can take him. Then on Tuesday and Thursdays I will try and do a 10K when I can and Sundays in July I will go for 17K, August 19K and September 21K all to get ready for the half marathon in October. Saturday will be my 'lazy' day.
