Tried

I tried. I did try to run but got part way down the block and the knee was really giving me pain. It is acutally quite depressing. Last time I got into a good routine of running, my foot started giving me trouble, and after orthotics etc it took 8 months for it to be better. Now here I am, sore knee. I am pretty sure if I lost weight I would have less pain, but with the pain I can't exercise. It is a vicious cycle, a rather depressing one.

  1. I feel your pain! What about just walking?? I started walking this morning and turned around and came home. I still have shin pain. I need to get on the bike first then walk.
Hope you get to feeling better soon!

  2. After two knee surgeries and a lot of pain my Dr. told me I should NOT run at all. This last year I have been walking almost every day except two breaks (3months) I had to take. I have lost 25 lbs in the process. It can be done. You should try just walking, you might like it.

  3. Have you had your knee checked out by a doctor? Maybe you need to stop trying to run and do something different...like Sanela said, try walking, and maybe look into other forms of exercise that won't hurt your knee?

Whatever you decide...I hope you get your knee checked out and make sure it's okay.
